'Dryw Bach'  works no. 3114 'Wren' class 0-4-0ST built in 1918 by Kerr Stuart of Stoke-on-Trent, acquired the name Dryw Bach while resident on the Bala Lake Railway. The loco has had an interesting life - it has been used in WWI; to build sewers;  to move stone; to haul passenger trains & been on display at the same museum (sic) on two separate occassions. The loco has changed hands 8 times (up to now), been restored in preservation at least 3 times & worked on 4 named railways (to date)!!
