Pre-season Update: March 2008

George B's frames are being painted and were under wraps on my visit so no photo's available.

The picnic benches and platform seats have had winter maintenance and refurbishment before being put out at Bala station.

Much bushwacking and shredding has taken place during the closed season and this has opened up many fine views.

The house next to Bala station has been renovated and is now occupied. This is very welcome.

Triassic is to be put back together as and when labour and time is available. Possibly to be steamed at the end of the year.

Alice is to visit the Welsh Highland at Porthmadog early May and also to visit Wicksteed Park.

New build Hunslet, Jack Lane is due to visit the Bala Lake Railway for a week also in early May.
