ALICE HYDE

It is with deep regret that we must advise Society members & friends of the Bala Lake Railway of the recent death of long-standing member Alice Hyde.

Alice was ever present at the railway between 1986 & 1999, usually to be found "manning" the second hand books & jigsaw stall on the platform at Llanuwchllyn.

Alice was successful in raising countless funds for Holy War, the restoration of the loco Alice & to refurbish passenger carriages. She is survived by son Bill (webmaster to our site).
