Sunday
The second day of the working weekend saw Andrew Coward, Bruce and Simon as crew for Alice on the days service trains.

The saturday working party was joined by Ben Barnes and myself (Bob Greenhalgh).

We mixed concrete and filled the holes to the prescribed depth. Tidied the work site and covered the holes so making the area safe.

Ben Barnes and I then did a couple of hours bushwacking either side of boathouse bridge. Amazing how quickly stuff grows along the lineside.

Engine Shed Notes
Holy War, Maid Marian and Alice are available for use and running well.
A start will be made soon on Holy War's 10 year overhaul.

Diesel locos Chilmark and Meirionnedd have both taken further steps towards full working order.

Report: Bob (Shell) Greenhalgh.
Photos: Daniel Newton, all taken on Saturday 7th June 2008 and showing the foundation digging.

Ed Note: The carriage shed was built circa 1973. The doors at the station (west end) were added in 1985. The roof trusses to extend the shed were acquired circa 1989. Nice to know the jobs list does move - even if slowly!
