Bunk house type accommodation for working volunteers.
The Bala Lake Railway company and the supporting Bala Lake Railway Society have established both a bunk-house type Hostel and multi-berth Caravan within the Llanuwchllyn station site for working volunteers who wish to stay over.
All accommodation is only available for those who intend working on the railway (it is not cheap holiday accommodation for non working persons).
Both facilities are available on a pre-booked basis and are multi-occupancy, so be prepared to share!
All of the accommodation is non-smoking and has fully equipped cooking areas and the hostel features two complete shower/washrooms.
There is a code of conduct we expect working volunteers to keep to and we ask all prospective (and existing volunteer workers) to download it and the associated Safety Guide.
Further detailed reading on the accommodation is available from the Volunteer Accommodation Guide.
